Isaias New Update: These Long Island Communities Most Affected By Power Outages
More than 300,000 Long Islanders remain in the dark a day after Tropical Storm Isaias ripped through the region, toppling trees and power lines.
PSEG Long Island was responding to 13,478 active outages as of around 10 a.m. on Wednesday, Aug. 5, which were impacting 320,769 of its 1,162,375 customers.
Of the 320,69 outages, 197,383 were impacted in Suffolk, with 141,608 still without power in Nassau. An additional 4,629 customers in the Rockaway Peninsula were also reporting outages.

PSEG Long Island crews were working to repair 2,346 active outages as of 4:15 p.m. on Tuesday, Aug. 4, which left 95,980 of its 1,162,375 customers without power.

Thousands of Long Island residents are without power as Tropical Storm Isaias brings whipping winds and rain to the region, toppling trees limbs and power lines.
PSEG Long Island was reporting 272 outages impacting 4,327 customers who were without power just before 1 p.m. on Tuesday, Aug. 4.
Of the outages, 3,751 of PSEG’s 488,488 Nassau County customers were without power, while 495 of the utility company’s 637,959 in Suffolk were without power.

Utility crews from PSEG Long Island worked through the night to restore power to more than 48,200 customers after thunderstorms struck the region, downing trees, and felling power lines.
As of 9:40 a.m. on Tuesday, April 14, PSEG was still reporting 490 active outages, which were impacting 2,100 customers. In Nassau, there were still 476 outages, while Suffolk was reporting 1,617 customers still without power.

Thousands are without power on Long Island as potent storms roll through the region, bringing whipping winds of more than 70 mph that toppled tree limbs and downed power lines.
Just before 1 p.m. on Monday, April 13, PSEG was reporting 384 outages that were impacting 8,055 of their 1,161,417 customers.
In Suffolk, there were 4,808 outages, while there were 2,600 in Nassau.
Huntington was hit the hardest, with 1,961 reported outages, followed by Oyster Bay (1,438 outages), North Hempstead (1,011), Brookhaven (777), Smithtown (697), Riverhead (644), and Babylon (432).

Thousands of Long Islanders lost power as wind gusts reaching upwards of 65 mph sent power lines flying.
As of 2:35 p.m. on Friday, Feb. 7, PSEG Long Island was reporting 293 active outages, impacting 5,327 of their 1,161,746 customers.
In Nassau County, 2,611 customers were impacted, while 2,609 customers in Suffolk County lost power.
