Four teens and a man were arrested on Long Island after they allegedly crashed into a marked police cruiser in a stolen vehicle, injuring two officers.
Suffolk County Police said one 17-year-old and three 16-year-old males -- who were not named due to their ages -- were arrested along with Danis Gomez, age 23, of Brentwood, following the incident that took place around 10 p.m. Tuesday, Feb. 8, in North Bay Shore.

Long Island Man Charged With DWI After Fatal Hit-Run Crash
A Long Island man has been charged with driving while intoxicated and fleeing the scene of a motor vehicle crash that killed a pedestrian overnight.
Darwin Contreras, age 30, was driving a 2011 Jeep Grand Cherokee in North Bay Shore northbound on Fifth Avenue when the vehicle struck a pedestrian who was crossing the street, in front of 1724 Fifth Ave., at approximately 12:20 a.m. Saturday, Oct. 16, Suffolk County Police said.

31-Year-Old Long Island Man Killed In Two-Vehicle Crash
A 31-year-old Long Island man was killed in a two-vehicle crash overnight.
It happened on Thursday, May 7 just before 9:30 p.m. in North Bay Shore.
Michael Joya, 31, of Bay Shore, was operating a 2009 Ducati southbound on Ohio Avenue, when the motorcycle struck a westbound 2015 Ford Mustang at the intersection of Delaware Avenue, Suffolk County Police said.
Joya was transported to Southside Hospital in Bay Shore where he was pronounced dead.
The driver of the Ford, Jexon Martinez Padilla, 22, of Bay Shore, was not injured.

It happened Tuesday, April 21 at approximately 8:25 p.m. in North Bay Shore.
