A Long Island coffee shop was heavily damaged in a fire that has been deemed suspicious by the fire marshal's office. The fire took place in Nassau County around 9:30 p.m., Tuesday, Dec. 20 at the Café La Bella Notte on Merritts Road in South Farmingdale. Fire Fully Engulfs Long Island Residence, Damages Neighboring House, Police Say
Dozens of firefighters worked overnight to extinguish a fire that broke out and fully engulfed a Long Island home. First responders in Nassau County responded to a Bayview Avenue home in Wantagh shortly before 3:30 a.m. on Friday, Nov. 12, where there was a report of a home fully engulfed in flames. Upon arrival, police said that the residents had already safely evacuated the home. Photos: Three Injured, Two Dogs Killed After Fire Breaks Out At Adjacent Long Island Homes
Two dogs are dead and three suffered injuries after a massive house fire broke out in Elmont, which spread to a second home, officials said. First responders were dispatched to Oakley Avenue at approximately 5:20 p.m. on Wednesday, Nov. 13, the Nassau County Police Arson and Bomb Squad reported. Upon arrival, first responders found the house at 146 Oakley fully engulfed, and the fire quickly spread to a neighboring home. One Arrested After Long Beach Hazmat Situation Caused By 'Fully Functioning' Meth Lab
A Long Beach man was arrested after police found a fully-functioning meth lab in a detached garage after responding to a call for a man in distress. John Weinstock, 40, was arrested on Friday, May 10, after police responded to 324 West Beach Street, Long Beach, for a report of an unconscious man in the side yard, said the Long Beach Police Department.
