A Long Island man was sentenced for attempting to murder four police officers following a traffic stop. Duane Costa, age 40, of Uniondale, was sentenced on Thursday, Jan. 27, to 25 years to life in prison in the 2018 incident, according to Nassau County District Attorney Anne Donnelly.
