State Police On Long Island Issue Alert For Wanted Man
Over a year after his initial arrest, New York State Police on Long Island are searching for a man who was arrested for allegedly driving while intoxicated then never appeared in court. Danell Nicholas, 34, is wanted by both troopers and the Nassau County Court after he was charged on April 22 of 2018 and a bench warrant was issued for his arrest on May 16 of that year, police said. Police said Nicholas is 5-foot-11, weighs approximately 188 pounds, has black hair and grey eyes. State Police Issue Alert For Wanted Long Island Man
State Police are searching for a man who never showed up in court after he was arrested in April of 2016 for driving while intoxicated on Long Island. A bench warrant was issued by the Nassau County Court for the arrest of 30-year-old Nester Ramirez-Ramirez in May of 2017. Ramirez-Ramirez stands at 5-foot-6, has brown hair and brown eyes and weighs approximately 175 pounds. State Police are looking for a man who failed to appear in Nassau County Court after he was arrested for driving while intoxicated in 2015. Eddy Gonzalez-Garcia, 39, stands at 5-foot-5, weighs 155 pounds and has brown hair and eyes. State Police Issue Alert Long Island Woman Wanted For 12 Years
A Long Island woman who skipped out on her court date for driving while intoxicated has been wanted by police since 2008, according to state troopers. Svetlana Alkhovka, now 53, was charged with an aggravated DWI on Nov. 1, 2007. After she failed to appear in court, a bench warrant for her arrest was issued by the Nassau County Court on Sept. 23 of 2008. Alkhovka reportedly stands at 5-foot-5, weighs 150 pounds and has brown hair and green eyes. A Long Island woman admitted to driving drunk at three times the posted legal speeding limit and fatally striking a 65-year-old man in February last year, authorities announced. Julie Debrosse, 31, of Elmont, pleaded guilty to second-degree manslaughter, assault and driving while intoxicated in Nassau County Court, District Attorney Madeline Singas said. The owner of a Long Island accounting firm is facing charges for allegedly submitting false New York State tax returns for nearly 300 clients. Kenneth Erdheim, of Woodmere, was arraigned in Nassau County Court and charged with second-degree criminal tax fraud, a felony, for his firm allegedly submitting 267 false tax returns.
