Woman Killed In Miller Place Hit-Run Reportedly Knew Suspect A woman killed during a hit-and-run crash reportedly knew the man who was arrested for the crime. Mary Ginty, 31, of South Beach, was found dead on Monday, June 24, in front of 55 Miller Place Road, after being hit by a Hyundai driven by John Lang of Ridge, said the Suffolk County Police. Lang, who was charged with leaving the scene of the fatal crash, knew Ginty, although prosecutors would not say how, reported ABC 7 Eyewitness News .
