Duane Costa, age 40, of Uniondale, was sentenced on Thursday, Jan. 27, to 25 years to life in prison in the 2018 incident, according to Nassau County District Attorney Anne Donnelly. He was convicted of four counts of first-degree attempted murder, one count of first-degree criminal use of a firearm and three counts of second-degree criminal possession of a weapon on Thursday, Dec. 16, Donnelly said.
