The incident happened in Riverhead, at the 7-Eleven store on Old Country Road, at around 1:45 a.m. Monday, Nov. 4. Riverhead Town Police said a masked man approached the counter and requested a pack of cigarettes before demanding that the female clerk open the cash register.
