Female Jogger Seriously Injured After Being Struck By Van On Long Island A woman was seriously injured after being struck by a work van on Long Island. The incident happened just after 7 a.m. Wednesday, Aug. 26 in Watermill. The Southampton Town Emergency Call Center received a call for a jogger struck by a work van. Several patrol vehicles responded to the scene to find the female jogger struck by a work van. The driver of the van remained at the scene.
