Laniya Gaymon, of Central Islip, didn’t show up at her Coventry Lane residence after school on Tuesday, Jan. 23, according to Suffolk County Police. Relatives reported her missing that evening. Gaymon is 5-foot-8 and 220 pounds, with black hair and brown eyes. She was last seen wearing a gray sweater, black T-shirt, and light-colored sweatpants. She has a nose ring.
