Man Causing Disturbance In Farmingdale Becomes 'Violent, Combative,' With 1 Cop Hospitalized A man who was causing a disturbance in a quiet Long Island neighborhood became violent and combative after officers arrived on the scene, injuring one cop. The incident happened just before 2 a.m. Saturday, Nov, 2, in Farmingdale. It happened Friday, Jan. 24 at around 6:30 a.m. in Farmingdale. The 68-year-old woman was struck by the garbage truck as it was making a right-hand turn westbound on Fulton Street at the intersection of Main Street, according to Nassau County Police. The victim suffered injuries to her head and was transported to a local hospital for evaluation and treatment. The driver of the vehicle remained at the scene. The investigation is ongoing.
