Twice As Nice: Two Winning Lotto Tickets Sold At Long Island Stores
Two lucky people (or, possibly, one extremely lucky person) can now afford as many gifts as they want this holiday season after two nearby Long Island stores both sold winning lottery tickets, lottery officials announced.
One third-prize Powerball ticket and one top-prize Take 5 ticket, both from the Wednesday, Nov. 8 drawings, were each sold at Farmingdale stores, according to the New York Lottery.
The Take 5 ticket, worth $35,596.50, was sold at One Stop Cards & Convenience, located at 296 Main Street.

A New York man has claimed a $2,000,000 lottery prize, and he shared what he plans to do with his winnings.
Ibrahima Bah, of the Bronx, told the New York Lottery he has big plans for his winning prize, saying his first plan is to buy a house.
Bah won the Powerplay second prize for matching the first five numbers drawn in the Wednesday, Nov. 17 Powerball drawing, according to the New York Lottery.
He received his prize as a single lump-sum payment of $1,217,802 after required withholdings.
