One lucky winner is nearly $19,000 richer — but they might not know it yet.
Lottery officials announced that on Tuesday, April 25, the top-prize Take 5 ticket was sold at the King’s Motor Super Pumper in Hauppauge, located at 1340 Motor Parkway.
The winning ticket, sold for a Take 5 Midday drawing, is worth $18,980.50.
A Lottery draw prize may be claimed up to one year from the date of the drawing, no matter the prize amount, the lottery said.
Take 5 numbers are drawn from a field of one to 39, and drawings are televised twice a day.

A Westchester County woman claimed an $18.9 million lottery prize.
Patricia Wahl, of Hartsdale, won the New York Lotto jackpot from the drawing held on Wednesday, July 20, New York Lottery announced on Thursday, Oct. 6.
"This is unreal," she said to NY Lottery after claiming the prize. "I still can't believe it. "
Wahl chose to receive her prize as a single, lump-sum payment of $7,771,907 after required withholdings, the lottery said.

A New York woman won a $1 million lottery prize.
Hina Iqbal, of Brooklyn, claimed a top prize from New York Lottery's "1,000,000 Bonus Word Cashword" scratch-off game, NY Lottery announced on Monday, Sept. 26.
She received her prize as a single, lump-sum payment of $612,240 after required withholdings, the lottery said.

A New York man won a $1 million lottery prize.
Michael Spivey, a resident of St. Albans, a neighborhood in Queens, claimed a top prize from the New York Lottery's $1,000,000 Lucky Dog scratch-off game, NY Lottery announced on Tuesday, Sept. 6.
He received his prize as a single, lump sum of $526,526 after required withholdings, the lottery said.
NY Lottery said the winning ticket was purchased at Associated Supermarket, which is located at 153-30 89th St. in Jamaica.

A New York man has won a $10 million lottery prize.
Joseph Crisanti, a resident of Elmhurst, Queens, claimed a top prize from the New York Lottery’s $10,000,000 Deluxe scratch-off game, NY Lottery announced on Wednesday, June 15.
He received his prize as a single, lump-sum payment of $6,122,400 after required withholdings, the lottery said.
The ticket was purchased at Green Grocery Convenience, which is located at 82-81 Broadway in Elmhurst, the lottery said.
Woman Claims $1 Million New York Lottery Prize
A woman has claimed a $1,000,000 prize from the New York Lottery’s Mega Millions scratch-off game.
NY Lottery announed on Monday, Nov. 8, that Barbara Petio, of the Bronx, had claimed the top prize.
“This is just crazy,” Petio said.
NY Lottery said Petio decided to receive her prize in 20 yearly payments.
She received the first payment of $30,612, after required holdings, on Monday.

A Hudson Valley woman is feeling lucky after cashing in the top prize of a New York State Lottery scratcher.
Columbia County resident Amana Akter, of the city of Hudson, has claimed her top prize on the New York Lottery’s $2,500,000 "Make My Year" scratch-off ticket. The top prize guarantees a minimum payout of $250,000 a year for 10 years.
Officials said that Akter opted to take her $2,500,000 prize as a single lump-sum payment totaling $1,523,340, after required withholdings.

'It’s A Heart-Pounding Experience,' Says Woman After Claiming $5M NY Lottery Prize
A woman has claimed a $5,000,000 New York Lottery top prize.
Catherine Bunnell won the prize in the NY Lottery's $5,000,000 Mega Multiplier scratch-off game.
“It’s a heart-pounding experience,” said the resident of the Chenango County town of Bainbridge, located about 30 miles north of Binghamton.
The NY Lottery said Bunnell purchased the winning ticket at Mirabito, located at 1232 Upper Front St. in Binghamton.
She opted to receive the prize as a single lump-sum payment of $3,255,000 after required withholdings.
