Woman Found Dead At Long Island Beach The body of a woman was recovered in the water off the coast of Long Island. Click here for the updated story: New Information: Woman Found Dead Off Long Beach Drowned, Police Say On Tuesday, Sept. 5 at approximately 6:24 a.m., Nassau County Police reported to the Lincoln Beach area of Long Beach after a call about a body in the water. They shortly discovered and recovered the 37-year-old woman’s body. She was pronounced dead at the scene by paramedics. Her identity and cause of death have not been released.
