Man Nabbed With Drugs After Stealing Vehicle On Long Island, Police Say A man was arrested on Long Island for possession of drugs and criminal possession of stolen property after allegedly stealing a car and then being caught with drugs. The incident took. place in Westbury around 1:40 a.m., Sunday, Dec. 11. According to Nassau County detectives, officers responded to a call for a man going through a vehicle that was parked on Lennox Avenue.  Officers checking the area spotted Elijah Augustin, age 28, of Brooklyn, enter a 2009 white Toyota Matrix and leave the scene in the car,  police said.
