A drive-through novel coronavirus (COVID-19) testing site on Long Island is up and running and doing a brisk business. The site, located at the West End of Jones Beach is open from 8 a.m. to 6 p.m. daily. Currently, only people who make appointments are being allowed to be tested. The mobile labs have the capacity to test approximately 200 to 250 cars daily. Getting an appointment does not require a doctor. Police dive teams and first responders are back in the water off Rockaway Beach searching for two teens who went missing while swimming. The incident took place around 3:30 p.m., Tuesday, Oct. 1, when New York City Police officers in Rockaway responded to a 911 call of a water rescue at the Beach 96th Street and Broadwalk, said the NYPD.
