Covid-19: See Map Of States Where Travelers Must Quarantine In NY/NJ/CT
Travelers from twice as many states will now be subjected to a mandatory quarantine when traveling into the metro New York area due to the recent surge in novel coronavirus (COVID-19) cases in more than half the country.
Eight more states have been added to the list of those subjected to a 14-day quarantine when coming into New York, Connecticut, and New Jersey.

Covid-19: Travelers From Eight More States Will Be Required To Quarantine In NY/NJ/CT
Travelers from eight more states will be required to quarantine for 14 days in New York, New Jersey and Connecticut amid the novel coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic.
That means, as of Tuesday, June 30, there are 16 states that meet the criteria of significant community spread.
The newly added states are:
California,
Georgia,
Iowa,
Idaho,
Louisiana,
Mississippi,
Nevada,
Tennessee.

Investigation Of Facebook For Possible Antitrust Violations Launched By NY Attorney General
New York State Attorney General Letitia James has launched an investigation of Facebook for possible violations of antitrust laws.
Though Facebook is the world’s largest social media platform, James says the site “must follow the law and respect consumers.”
James, who will lead the bipartisan coalition in charge of carrying out the investigation, is working with the attorneys general of Colorado, Florida, Iowa, Nebraska, North Carolina, Ohio, Tennessee, and the District of Columbia to determine whether Facebook has violated antitrust laws.

First Adult Case Of Measles In Suffolk County Confirmed, With Exposure Site Announced
Amid the highest measles outbreak in the nation in 25 years, health officials have confirmed the first adult case of the disease in Suffolk County.
The person arrived recently arrived from outside the United States, the health department said, noting that the case doesn't appear to be related to the nationwide outbreak.
Anyone who visited the BNB Bank at 48 East Montauk Highway in Hampton Bays, on Saturday, April 20, from around 12:15 p.m. to 1 p.m. may have been exposed, the department said, and should call the Suffolk Department of Health Services at 631-854-0333.

Thirteen people in seven states - including New York and Connecticut - have been sickened by salmonella this year due to a frozen raw ground tuna product, according to the U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention.
This week, the CDC announced a recall of three lots of individually packed one-pound bags and 20-pound boxes of Jensen Tuna Inc. The recalled lots are: z266; z271 and z272. Melon Recalled Due To Salmonella Outbreak
A recall has been issued for melon products sold in 16 states, including New York, after being linked to a salmonella outbreak, The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention said.
Ninety-three people were infected, 23 of whom were hospitalized. No deaths have been reported.
The recall is for cut cantaloupe, watermelon and honeydew produced by Caito Foods LLC. The fruit has been sold under various brands or labels at Kroger, Walmart, Trader Joe's, Target and Whole Foods.
