The Suffolk County Sheriff’s Office introduced its newest K-9, Hondo, during a ceremony at the agency’s headquarters in Riverhead on Thursday, March 21. Sheriff Errol Toulon Jr. presented the 1-year-old German Shepherd with his official shield, and the dog showed off his drug searching and apprehension skills.
