Drunk Driver Who Led Troopers On High-Speed Chase On LI Highway Before Crash Sentenced A man who led troopers on a high-speed chase on a Long Island highway while drunk and high on marijuana before crashing his car is heading to prison. Bentley Butler, age 35, of Rosedale, Queens, was sentenced to between two and seven years behind bars in Nassau County Court on Tuesday, Feb. 14. It followed his jury conviction on nearly a dozen charges, including aggravated DWI, in December 2022.
