A plane crashed and exploded near a retirement community in Lancaster County, injuring multiple people and triggering a massive emergency response on Sunday, March 9, officials said. The aircraft, a Beechcraft A36TC Bonanza registered as N347M and owned by Jam Zoom Yayos LLC, went down near Fairview Drive and Meadowview Court in Manheim Township at 3:18 p.m., according to emergency dispatchers. Truck Overturns, Dumps Cement On Long Island Roadway
A Long Island roadway has reopened after a cement truck overturned spilling fluids. The single-vehicle crash took place around 11:10 a.m., Monday, March 2, on Sheridan Boulevard, in Inwood, said the Nassau County Police. The crash dumped cement and fluids on the roadway, causing a call to hazmat officials and the Inwood Fire Department who worked to clear the roadway. The roadway reopened around 12:30 p.m., police said. The cause of the crash is under investigation.

One Arrested After Long Beach Hazmat Situation Caused By 'Fully Functioning' Meth Lab
A Long Beach man was arrested after police found a fully-functioning meth lab in a detached garage after responding to a call for a man in distress. John Weinstock, 40, was arrested on Friday, May 10, after police responded to 324 West Beach Street, Long Beach, for a report of an unconscious man in the side yard, said the Long Beach Police Department. Officers found Weinstock unconscious and he was transported to South Nassau Communities Hospital.
