Suspect At Large After Armed Robbery At Mineola Gas Station
A suspect is on the loose after an armed robbery at a Long Island gas station. The man entered the convenience store of the BP gas station in Mineola, located at 91 Jericho Turnpike, at around 5:30 p.m. Saturday, Dec. 17, Nassau County Police said. An alleged robbery suspect is on the run after pulling a handgun on a woman on Long Island and stealing her purse before fleeing in a car. The incident took place in North New Hyde Park around 3:30 p.m., Wednesday, Oct. 5 on Denton Avenue near Hillside Avenue. A 27-year-old man was charged after police said he resisted arrest and was found to be in possession of oxycodone pills and a loaded handgun following a traffic stop on Long Island. Randy Scott was arrested for the incident in Inwood, which occurred at 2:20 a.m. on Wednesday, Aug. 18, the Nassau County Police Department reported. The identity of the man who was killed in a police-involved shooting overnight on Long Island has been released. The incident happened around 10:20 p.m.on Thursday, Dec. 19 in Brentwood.
