It happened around 3 p.m. Friday, June 7, in Old Brookville. A 45-year-old man operating a 2002 Suzuki motorcycle traveling westbound, was involved in the collision with a 65-year-old man operating a 2022 GMC pickup truck traveling eastbound on Northern Boulevard near Hickory Road. As a result of the collision, the motorcyclist suffered serious injuries and was pronounced dead at the scene by a Nassau County Police Medic. Dealership's Truck, SUV Stolen From Long Island Shopping Mall Police are investigating after two vehicles belonging to a car dealership were stolen from a Long Island shopping mall. The thefts occurred just before 11 p.m. Sunday, March 19, in East Garden City, at the Roosevelt Field Mall, according to Nassau County Police. Detectives said a gray 2023 GMC Yukon and a white 2023 GMC Sierra were stolen from the mall’s west parking lot. The truck and SUV were being stored in the lot on behalf of a GMC dealership. Man Dies From Injuries Sustained In Nassau County Crash, Police Say A 70-year-old man has died from injuries sustained when he was struck by a vehicle on Long Island.  Muhammed Younis, of Bellmore, was pronounced dead by hospital staff, the Nassau County Police Department reported on Wednesday afternoon, Nov. 17. Younis was struck by a 2015 GMC at the intersection of Jerusalem Avenue and Newbridge Road in North Bellmore at about 3:50 a.m. on Monday, Nov. 15, NCPD reported.
