The incident happened around 3:25 p.m. on Tuesday, June 15 in Glenwood Landing. Nassau County Police officers responded to a 911 call at 165 Shore Road, where a man was found lying unresponsive on the ground and bleeding from his head. Amir Dashti, 27, of Glenwood Landing, was arrested around 8:15 a.m., Wednesday, Aug. 14, for the crash which took place at 10:35 p.m. on Tuesday, Aug. 13, on Scudders Lane, said the Nassau County Police.
