Argument Leads To Shooting At Long Island Home, Police Say
A man is recovering after an argument led to a shooting at a Long Island home, authorities said.
Nassau County Police responded to reports of a shooting at a home in Roosevelt, located on Madison Avenue, at around 3:30 a.m. Tuesday, Oct. 4.
When officers arrived, they found a 30-year-old victim suffering from a gunshot wound to the leg, police said.
He was taken by ambulance to a nearby hospital and was last listed in stable condition.
There were no other reports of injuries stemming from the incident.

A suspect was apprehended after an attempted robbery at a Long Island bank.
The incident happened Wednesday, July 6 in Wantagh.
The suspect, Anthony J. Trentacosta, age 30, of Seaford, entered the Bank of America located at 3330 Park Avenue, approached a female teller and produced a demand note for US currency, Nassau County Police said.
The teller did not comply and Trentacosta fled the bank through the rear doors without any proceeds, police said.

Woman Kicked, Injured Officers During Arrest On Long Island, Police Say
A woman is accused of assaulting police officers during an arrest on Long Island.
Angel Alexander-Adolphe, age 23, was arrested Saturday, June 11, in West Hempstead, according to Nassau County Police.
Officers were responding to a disturbance on Hempstead Turnpike near Oakland Avenue at around 1 a.m. when they found Alexander-Adolphe and a 25-year-old man in a physical altercation, police said.
When they attempted to arrest her, she began resisting, injuring an officer on his knee and leg, according to police.

Traffic Stop On Long Island Leads To Gun Arrest, Police Say
Police have arrested a man from the region for alleged possession of a loaded gun during a routine traffic stop on Long Island.
The incident took place in Inwood around 9:40 p.m., Monday, June 6.
According to detectives, officers spotted a black 2010 Nissan Maxima traveling eastbound on Bayview Avenue with dark tinted windows, said the Nassau County Police.
