Duo Steals $275K Diamond Watch From Long Island Jeweler, Police Say
Two men are accused of stealing a diamond watch worth more than a quarter-million dollars from a Long Island jeweler.
The theft occurred in Greenvale, at the Loucri Jewelers located on Northern Boulevard, at around 3:15 p.m. Wednesday, July 17.
Nassau County Police said two men entered the store and one distracted the salesperson while the other concealed a Audemars Piguet Royal Oak custom diamond watch. The watch is valued at $275,325.

A 25-year-old man has been arrested on charges including robbery after he allegedly punched a woman in the face before taking her phone and wallet.
The North Lawrence incident occurred on Tuesday, May 28, Nassau County Police said.
Just after 1:30 p.m., Ronald E. Bellamy of Far Rockaway, Queens, reportedly got into a fight with a 24-year-old woman at the Five Towns Shopping Center, located at 253-01 Rockaway Turnpike.
While the fight started off verbal, it escalated to a physical altercation, police said.

Man Nabbed For Lighting House, Cars Ablaze On Long Island: Police
A Long Island man was arrested after he allegedly set a couple’s cars and home on fire while they slept, police said.
It happened on Tuesday, Dec. 5 in Rockville Centre, according to Nassau County Police.
At approximately 5 a.m., a North Forest Avenue couple was sleeping in their second-floor bedroom when they were awoken by a loud noise.
The pair, a 45-year-old woman and a 56-year-old man, looked out their window to find their two cars, a 2018 Porsche and a 2014 Dodge, were up in flames.

A Long Island man faces attempted murder charges after a Long Island road rage incident, authorities announced.
On Monday, Aug. 21, 22-year-old Marcquise Porter was arrested for his involvement in the Uniondale disturbance, which happened two days prior, Nassau County Police said.
The victim, a 24-year-old man contacted the police on Saturday, Aug. 19 at approximately 5:30 p.m. to report that he had been the subject of a road rage incident.

Road Rage: New Hyde Park Man Hits Victim After Following Him Into Manhasset Eatery, Police Say
A man is facing multiple charges after a road-rage incident at a Long Island restaurant.
The incident began in Manhasset at around 4:45 p.m. Wednesday, May 24, near TGI Friday's located at 1445 Northern Blvd., when Antonio Condello, age 48, of New Hyde Park, had a verbal argument with a 39-year-old man, Nassau County Police said.
"During this altercation, Condello stepped out of his vehicle and retrieved a firearm from the trunk while yelling at the victim, placing him in fear for his safety," according to a statement by police.
