29-Year-Old Killed In Two-Vehicle Crash On Seaford Oyster Bay Expressway A man was killed in a two-vehicle crash overnight on the Seaford Oyster Bay Expressway. It happened on Sunday, Oct. 4 just before 12:30 a.m. in North Massapequa on the expressway near the Boundary Avenue exit.  A 2017 Kawasaki motorcycle being driven by a 29-year-old man was traveling northbound in the center lane when he struck a 2015 Honda sedan in the rear, Nassau County Police said.  As a result of the collision, the man suffered fatal injuries and was pronounced dead at the scene.  The driver of the sedan, a 58-year old woman, was transported to an area …

Exterminator Killed After Falling From Ladder At Long Island Home An exterminator performing work at a Long Island home died after falling from his ladder and suffering a traumatic neck injury. Nassau County Police investigators said that the 29-year-old Uniondale man was working at a Bayside Avenue home at approximately 11:35 a.m. Tuesday, Sept. 22 in Port Washington when he fell from the ladder. The man - whose name is currently being withheld - was transported to an area hospital and later pronounced dead there by a staff member. It happened in Dix Hills on Saturday, May 30 just before 11 p.m. Romero Crossman, 22, was driving a 2009 BMW 528i northbound on Straight Path/Seaman Neck Road when the vehicle struck a pedestrian crossing the roadway at the intersection of Clarendon Street, Suffolk County Police said.  Crossman then fled the scene in the BMW, according to police.
