Two Charged After Teen Is Stabbed At Lirr Station Two juveniles have been apprehended after a teen was slashed at an LIRR train station. The incident happened on Friday, Jan. 17 at 3:40 p.m. in Manhasset, Nassau County Police said. According to detectives, while attempting to purchase drugs from two juvenile subjects, ages 16 and 17, the victim, also 17, was assaulted by the 16-year-old with a knife, causing him to suffer severe lacerations to both of his hands, police said.  The suspects then took $30 from the victim and left the scene. Teen Charged With Hate Crime After Assault At McDonald's On Hempstead Turnpike, Police Say A teenager is in police custody after allegedly committing a hate crime at a Nassau County McDonald’s, mocking a man’s sexual orientation, spitting at him and assaulting him, police said. A 24-year-old man was in McDonald's on Hempstead Turnpike in Elmont at approximately 3:55 p.m. on Tuesday, May 28, when he was confronted by a group of people shouting inappropriate comments regarding his sexual orientation.
