FDA Orders Juul To Stop Selling, Distributing E-Cigarettes In US
The United States Food and Drug Administration has ordered Juul Labs Inc. to stop selling and distributing all of its e-cigarette products that are currently available on the US market. The FDA made the announcement on Thursday, June 23, saying it has issued marketing denial orders to the company. Officials said the decision means the products that are currently on the US market must be removed. Four Suffolk County Store Employees Nabbed For Selling Vapes To Minors
Four employees of Long Island smoke shops are accused of selling vapes and e-cigarettes to minors. Officers conducted an investigation into the sale of e-cigarettes to minors at 15 businesses in Suffolk County after receiving a number of complaints, according to an announcement from the Suffolk County Police Department on Tuesday, May 31. Eighth Vaping-Related Death Reported With Number Of Illnesses Surpassing 500
An eighth vaping-related death has been reported as the number of vaping-related breathing illness surpass more than 530. On Thursday, Sept. 19, officials with the Centers for Disease and Prevention and the Food and Drug Administration, confirmed in a teleconference with the media that 530 people have experienced lung injuries associated with the use of e-cigarette or vaping products.
