19: NY To Change Policy For Domestic Travelers
New York is loosening the restrictions on travelers coming into the state as the recovery from the COVID-19 holiday season surge continues. Gov. Andrew Cuomo announced that beginning on Thursday, April 1, domestic travelers will no longer be required to quarantine after entering New York from another state or territory. New York is loosening up its restrictions on domestic travelers and social gatherings as the state continues recovering from the post-holiday COVID-19 surge. During a COVID-19 briefing on Wednesday, March 3 in Albany, Gov. Andrew Cuomo announced that due to the declining numbers in New York, some restrictions and limits will be lifted.
