An accused drug dealer is facing multiple charges in connection to a Long Island woman’s overdose death.
Jaquan Casserly, age 34, of Holbrook, was arraigned in Suffolk County Court Friday, Jan. 27, months after allegedly selling fentanyl to a Lake Grove woman who later died, according to the Suffolk County District Attorney’s Office.
Police were called to the woman’s home on Thursday, Aug. 18, 2022 with reports of an apparent overdose. The woman’s mother found her unresponsive in a bathroom, according to investigators.

22-Year-Old Busted With Ghost Gun, Drugs During Traffic Stop On Long Island, Police Say
A 22-year-old man is facing charges after he was allegedly caught with a ghost gun and drugs during a traffic stop on Long Island, authorities said.
Shemar Freire, of Union City, New Jersey, was stopped by police at around 10:30 p.m. Monday night, Dec. 5, as he drove in Inwood, near Sheridan and Doughty boulevards, Nassau County Police said.
Officers reportedly pulled him over due to his excessively dark window tint.
During the subsequent investigation, police said they found a loaded semi-automatic ghost gun inside the vehicle, along with marijuana.

40-Year-Old Local Man Accused Of Trespassing At Hicksville High School 'Numerous Times'
A Long Island man has been accused of trespassing on the grounds of a local high school.
On Saturday, Nov. 5, Nassau County Police reported the arrest of the Hicksville man for criminal trespassing that occurred between Tuesday, April 12, 2022 and Wednesday, May 18, 2022 in Hicksville.
According to NCPD detectives, the man, Peter Centeno, age 40, violated a no-trespassing order against the Hicksville Public School District "numerous times by being on Hicksville High School grounds."
