A Long Island man faces attempted murder charges after a Long Island road rage incident, authorities announced.
On Monday, Aug. 21, 22-year-old Marcquise Porter was arrested for his involvement in the Uniondale disturbance, which happened two days prior, Nassau County Police said.
The victim, a 24-year-old man contacted the police on Saturday, Aug. 19 at approximately 5:30 p.m. to report that he had been the subject of a road rage incident.

Man Who Threw Gun, Drugs While Fleeing Police On Long Island Convicted
A Long Island man has been convicted of possessing a loaded illegal loaded gun and drugs after a noise complaint turned into a foot chase, authorities said.
Joe Nunez, aged 34, of Copiague, was found guilty by jury trial of felony charges that originated from an unrelated noise complaint, the Suffolk County District Attorney announced.
According to the trial, on August 14, 2022, police responded to noise complaints near Campagnoli Avenue.
After wrapping up addressing the complaints, Nunez was seen by police driving an unregistered dirt bike.

Complaints of drug dealing on Long Island led to the arrests of four suspects who were busted with heroin, fentanyl, crack cocaine, and an illegal weapon, police said.
An investigation was launched in Riverhead earlier this year after there were repeated community complaints of drug dealing in the area, according to local, county, and state law enforcement.
