IDs Released For Two Women Injured In Hit-Run On Long Island Intersection Two women were injured, one seriously, in a hit-and-run crash overnight on Long Island. Suffolk County Police  First Precinct officers responded to North Lindenhurst after a 911 report at Sunrise Highway and North Delaware Avenue at 11:55 p.m. Tuesday, Nov. 26. Two 20-year-old Lindenhurst women were walking from the north side of Sunrise Highway to the south side when they were struck by an unknown vehicle traveling westbound.
