Authorities Search For Man Accused Of Stealing TV From Commack Walmart Authorities asked the public for help identifying a man who is accused of stealing a 65-inch television from Walmart on Long Island. A man stole a Vizio television, valued at about $450, from the Commack store, located at 85 Crooked Hill Road, at 9:45 a.m. on Wednesday, Nov. 2, Suffolk County Crime Stoppers reported on Monday, Nov. 14. The man left in a dark gray Chrysler 300, traveling north on Crooked Hill Road, authorities said. The incident happened in Centereach at 10 a.m. on Sunday, Oct. 16, on North Washington Avenue near Oxhead Road, the Suffolk County Police Department said. Police said a 42-year-old South Setauket man was driving a 2019 Chrysler 300 south on North Washington Avenue. The Insurance Institute for Highway Safety (IIHS) released a brand-new report highlighting which vehicles are most likely to be targeted by potential car thieves. According to the report, the Dodge Charger HEMI and Dodge Challenger SRT Hellcat topped the list, coming in at five times more thefts of any other models produced between 2016 and 2018.
