Frias, 52, of Briarcliff Manor, was sentenced to five years in prison and ten years of post-release supervision after a jury found him guilty of first-degree sexual abuse, a felony, and endangering the welfare of a child, a misdemeanor. He will also be required to register as a sex offender.

A man from Queens has been apprehended by police after he allegedly had a sexual relationship with a Long Island child, police said.
On Thursday, Sept. 28, Nassau County Police announced the arrest of Giovanny Campos, age 50, of Queens, on multiple charges that include rape.
From Thursday, May 4 to Thursday, May 18, Campos allegedly had sexual relations with an underage girl in Nassau County.
He is charged with:
Rape, two counts;
Criminal sexual act, four counts; and
Endangering the welfare of a child, two counts.

A 55-year-old Long Island was apprehended by the FBI at a hotel where he allegedly intended to have a sexual encounter with a 10-year-old boy, according to authorities.
Kevin Will, of Islip, was arrested at the Melville hotel on Thursday, April 8, by members of the FBI "Crimes Against Children and Human Trafficking Unit," according to federal prosecutors.
When arrested, Will was in possession of cocaine, whiskey, lubricants and condoms, two pairs of small women's underwear, a gold gift card for Xbox Live, and other items, a criminal complaint said.

A Long Island soccer coach has been arraigned on a 50-count grand jury indictment for allegedly raping an underage player and endangering the welfare of two other teens.
Nassau County District Attorney Madeline Singas said Sean Johnsen, age 35, of Valley Stream, was charged with 23 counts of rape, 23 counts of a criminal sex act, and three counts of endangering the welfare of a child.
