ID Released For Man Struck, Killed By Minivan In Suffolk County
The identification has been released of a man who was fatally struck by a minivan on a Long Island roadway.
The crash happened at about 4:15 a.m. on Tuesday, Sept. 14 in Bay Shore.
Kevin Marques, age 22, of Centereach, was driving a 2013 Dodge Grand Caravan west on Sunrise Service Road, about 500 feet west of Atlantic Avenue, when it struck the man in the roadway, the Suffolk County Police Department said.
The pedestrian, Andrew Taylor, age 28, of Bay Shore, was taken to a hospital where he was pronounced dead, according to police.

Police have identified a man who was killed during a two-vehicle crash in which a Long Island man was arrested for driving while intoxicated.
Miguel Berdecia, age 46, of Central Islip, was killed around 12:25 a.m., Wednesday, Sept. 8, on Sunrise Highway in Sayville, said the Suffolk County Police.
According to police, Berdecia was driving a 2011 Toyota Yaris eastbound on the Sunrise Highway, near Exit 50, when the vehicle struck the center median, followed by the guardrail of the right lane, before becoming disabled sideways in the center lane, Suffolk County Police said.

28-Year-Old Seriously Injured In Long Island Crash
Police are investigating a crash that seriously injured a Long Island man.
It happened Monday, Sept. 6 just before 2 p.m. in East Shoreham.
Jerry Comeau, age 28, of Selden, was riding a 2009 Harley Davidson eastbound on Route 25A, near George Avenue, with a group of three other motorcyclists, Suffolk County Police said.
One of the other operators collided with one of the other vehicles and fell from a 2005 Yamaha, causing a pileup, said police.
Comeau, who was at the back of the group, was ejected from the motorcycle, police said.

A Long Island man was killed in a two-vehicle crash on a busy area roadway.
It happened just after 11:30 a.m. Saturday, July 31, in Miller Place.
Raoul Rasch, age 79, of Rocky Point, was driving a 1934 Ford vintage model eastbound on Route 25A, near Panther Path, when the vehicle crossed into the westbound lane and struck a westbound 2004 Ford pickup, Suffolk County Police said.
Rasch was transported to Stony Brook University Hospital where he was pronounced dead.

One person was killed in an overnight crash involving a FedEx vehicle on the Long Island Expressway.
It happened around 11:35 p.m. Tuesday, May 4 in Ronkonkoma.
A 2018 Honda sedan, driven by Stephen Neville, age 29, of Lake Ronkonkoma, collided with a 2017 Nissan sedan, driven by Xavier Rodriguez, age 19, of Centereach, on the eastbound Long Island Expressway as the two vehicles were attempting to turn onto Exit 60, Suffolk County Police said.
The Honda came to a stop in the center lane and the Nissan stopped on the exit ramp, according to police.

It happened Monday, May 3 at approximately 5:25 p.m. in Centereach.
James Vollert, 55, of Centereach, was operating his 1972 Honda Motorcycle north on Oxhead Road when he crashed into a southbound 2016 Honda SUV that was making a left-hand turn into a driveway on Oxhead Road, Suffolk County Police said.
Vollert was transported to Stony Brook University Hospital where he was pronounced dead, police said.
