A man has been apprehended after police say he forcibly touched a teenager and then attacked responding officers at a mall on Long Island. At around 4:30 p.m. Friday, Oct. 25, Police responded to a disturbance at Broadway Mall in Hicksville after receiving reports of an intoxicated male being aggressive towards the public. Man Accused Of Grabbing Boy, Touching Girl At Long Island Mall
A man was arrested after police say he grabbed a boy and inappropriately touched a girl at a Long Island mall. The incidents happened late in the afternoon on Monday, Jan. 20 in Hicksville. According to Nassau County Police detectives, Hector Castro, 52, of Woodbury, approached a 7-year-old boy at the Broadway Mall and grabbed his leg inappropriately. More traditional brick-and-mortar retail stores on Long Island are set to shutter their doors as online shopping continues to corner the market for shoppers. Days after Pier 1 announced plans to close hundreds of stores nationwide, Macy’s announced that it will be closing more than two dozen stores in the coming months, including two on Long Island.
