26-Year-Old Seriously Injured After Jeep Overturns In Manorville
Police are investigating after a Long Island man was seriously injured in a single-vehicle crash. It happened around 4:30 p.m. on Friday, Feb. 16 in Manorville. A 26-year-old was driving a 1997 Jeep Cherokee northbound on Barnes Road near Moriches-Middle Island Road when he lost control of the vehicle, which left the roadway. The vehicle then struck a fire hydrant and overturned. The victim, a resident of Mastic Beach, was transported to Stony Brook University Hospital with serious injuries. Escaped 1,500-Pound Bull On Loose In Suburban NY Neighborhood
Police are alerting residents in a suburban New York neighborhood after a bull that escaped from an area farm has been spotted running loose through multiple communities. The incident began to unfold on Long Island Tuesday morning, July 20. The Suffolk County Police Department said the bull has been reported in Mastic and Shirley.
