Man Killed In DWI Crash In Baldwin Identified
Police have identified a man who was killed in a suspected DWI crash on Long Island.
Scott Freeman, age 66, of North Baldwin, died as a result of the crash that occurred early Tuesday, May 3, in Baldwin at the intersection of Grand Avenue and East Carl Avenue, Nassau County Police said.
He was pronounced dead at the scene by a Nassau County Police Medic.
The other driver, 31-year-old Jinaraya Khan, of Baldwin, was taken to the hospital with non-life-threatening injuries, police said.

Three Nabbed On Long Island With Loaded Firearm During Traffic Stop
Three people were charged on Long Island for alleged criminal possession of a weapon following a traffic stop.
The arrests took place in Baldwin around 10:45 p.m. on Tuesday, April 12, on Cheshire Drive.
According to Nassau County Police detectives, officers spotted a 2007 Nissan Altima with a defective headlamp on Cheshire Drive, and conducted a traffic stop.
During the stop, a loaded semi-automatic pistol was located inside the vehicle. Numerous credit cards, debit cards, and scanning devices were also recovered from inside, Nassau County Police said.
