A Long Island man may spend the rest of his life behind bars over an incident that officials say is “one of the most senseless cases we’ve ever seen.” Joshua Roston, age 38 of Baldwin, was sentenced to 25 years to life in prison on Friday, Dec. 8 for the “vicious” killing of a gas station employee in 2019, the Nassau County District Attorney announced. Woman Charged With DWI In Connection To Fatal Long Island Crash
A woman who police say was driving drunk has been charged in connection to a fatal two-vehicle Long Island crash. The crash happened around 5:15 a.m. Tuesday, May 3 in Baldwin at the intersection of Grand Avenue and East Carl Avenue, Nassau County Police said. As a result of the collision, one of the drivers, a 66-year-old man, was pronounced dead at the scene at 5:24 a.m. by a Nassau County Police Medic. Police Searching For Man Who Attacked Person After Being Asked To Leave Long Island Party
Police are looking for a man who allegedly assaulted another man causing serious injuries after being asked to leave a party on Long Island. The incident took place around 4:55 a.m., Friday, Jan. 1, in Baldwin, said Nassau County Police. According to detectives, police responded to a disturbance at a Middle Bay Drive residence. Upon arrival, police observed a front-door window had been shattered and a 29-year old male victim had been hit in the head with a beer bottle.
