Attempted Murder: Husband Admits Beating, Choking Wife Unconscious Inside Long Island Home
A Long Island man has confessed to brutally beating his wife, at one point choking her unconscious, as the couple’s daughter watched in horror and begged him to stop.
The 45-year-old Lake Grove resident, who prosecutors are not naming in order to protect the victim’s identity, pleaded guilty to attempted murder and related charges in Suffolk County Court on Wednesday, Aug. 2.
According to the Suffolk County DA’s office, the victim was awakened at around 2:30 a.m. on May 22, 2022, when the defendant turned the bedroom lights on.

An alleged member of the Bloods gang has pleaded guilty to murder, attempted murder, and more for two separate Long Island incidents, officials announced.
Christopher Anderson, also known as CK, aged 27 of Roosevelt, pleaded guilty on Thursday, June 29 to charges including murder for two separate incidents in 2020, the Nassau County District Attorney announced.

After assaulting his mother and sister, a Manorhaven man allegedly held them captive in his home for over an hour, authorities said.
The incident occurred when police responded to a domestic disturbance on Tuesday, May 2 at approximately 2 p.m., according to the Nassau County Police.
Inside the kitchen of his Kirkwood Road home, Timothy Ibanez, age 44, had gotten into an argument with his sister, age 41, and mother, age 75.
