Three women were arrested for prostitution during a raid at a Long Island massage parlor.
In response to o uniform patrol and community quality of life complaints, authorities led by the Suffolk County Police Department conducted an investigation at Oxygen Foot Spa, located in West Islip at Higbie Lane at about 4:30 p.m. Friday, May 19.

A Long Island man has been charged after he allegedly severely neglected his 5-year-old dog.
The Suffolk County SPCA announced on Monday, May 15 that Naheem A. Scafe, aged 31, of Amityville, was charged with one count of animal cruelty.
SPCA officers allegedly responded to the Babylon Animal Shelter, where they saw Dollar, a 5-year-old bulldog.
Dollar was severely emaciated and neglected and had been brought to the shelter by Animal Control covered in urine, dirt, and filth.
