Multiple crews responded to a fire that destroyed a Long Island home and caused smoke damage to two neighboring homes. The fire broke out at a house on Clearwater Avenue in Massapequa at about 4 p.m. on Sunday, Oct. 9, according to the Nassau County Police Department. When emergency responders arrived, the home was engulfed in flames and all of the occupants had evacuated the residence, Nassau County Police said. Fire ripped through a Long Island home overnight, leaving it uninhabitable, officials announced. First responders in Suffolk County were dispatched to an Emerald Lane South home in Amityville shortly before 5 a.m. on Tuesday, Feb. 1, when a fire broke out in an area home. Multiple Agencies Race To Scene After Boat Near House Bursts Into Flames On Long Island
Multiple fire departments responded to a raging boat fire on Long Island located right next to a house. The incident took place just before 7:30 p.m., Tuesday, April 27 in Amityville, at 299 S. Ketchum Ave. Once on the scene, firefighters found two boats on fire that were dry-docked next to a house, the Amityville Fire Department said. There was also one burn victim, who was transported by ambulance to an area hospital. One Injured In Fiery Explosion At Long Island Factory
Police are investigating an explosion and fire at a Long Island factory. The explosion took place around 9:20 a.m., Tuesday, Dec. 29 at 1000 New Horizons Blvd. in Amityville, said Suffolk County Police. The explosion was followed by a fire, police said. Suspect On Loose After Man Shot, Killed At Long Island Residence
A suspect is at large after a man was shot and killed at a Long Island residence. It happened at 5:15 a.m. Thursday, April 16 in Amityville. Amityville Police officers and Suffolk County Police First Precinct officers responded to a call of shots fired at 100 Park Ave. Upon arrival, officers found Romario Williams, 25, of Flushing, Queens, on the ground with a gunshot wound, Suffolk County Police said. Two Hospitalized After Kitchen Fire Breaks Out On Long Island
A pair of Long Island residents were hospitalized when an early morning fire broke out in Massapequa. First responders were dispatched to a Michele Terrace home in Massapequa at approximately 9:50 a.m. on Wednesday, Dec. 18, where there was a report of a house fire.
