Police, FBI Investigators Seek Info On Elmont Acid Attack
The FBI has joined the hunt for a wanted suspect who injured a woman by throwing acid on her more than a year ago outside her Long Island home, offering a new reward. A reward of up to $20,000 has now been offered by the FBI, as well as $5,000 by Nassau County Crime Stoppers for any information that leads to an arrest and conviction of an assault suspect who attacked a woman last year in her driveway. The FBI is offering a reward of up to $20,000 for information that leads to an arrest in a Long Island acid attack. The assault happened in Elmont at about 8:30 p.m. on March 17, the FBI said.
