Ex-nypd Officer Charged For High-Speed, Drunken Crash On Long Island
A former NYPD officer and Marine reservist was arraigned for his part in an alleged drunk driving crash that killed a 22-year-old, authorities announced.
Aaron Cooper, age 26 of Lindenhurst, faced his charges on Tuesday, April 16, the Nassau County District Attorney announced.
Cooper, who was a former officer at the NYPD’s 17th precinct and a Marine reservist, was allegedly driving drunk on Saturday, Feb. 10.

It happened around 4:30 a.m. Saturday, Feb. 10 in North Woodmere.
A 2023 Toyota traveling on Rosedale Road near the intersection of Lawrence Court lost control and overturned, Nassau County Police said.
