The incident took place in Nassau County around 420 p.m., Monday, June 5 at the Roosevelt Field Mall in East Garden City. According to the Nassau County Police detectives, the woman was walking on the second floor of the Roosevelt Field Mall and was struck in the face by a man in a targeted attack.  After being struck, the victim noticed a knife in the man's hand. Suspect At Large After Hit-Run Bellmore Crash Critically Injuring 20-Year-Old A 20-year-old woman is in critical condition after being struck by a hit-and-run driver on Long Island, police said. In Nassau County, the department’s Homicide Squad is investigating a crash that hospitalized the woman in Bellmore while she was crossing Sunrise Highway in the area of Bedford Avenue. She was struck at approximately 10:10 p.m. on Tuesday, March 29.
