Seen Him? Alert Issued For Teen Missing Nearly A Week, Last Seen On Long Island

Police are asking for the community’s assistance in locating a missing teenager who was last seen on Long Island.

Missing 14-year-old Jamell Harris was last seen in Hempstead on Friday, Sept. 1, police said.

Jamell Harris, age 14, was last seen on Friday, Sept. 1 at approximately 9 p.m. in Hempstead, according to Nassau County Police.

Harris is described as being 5-foot-5 and weighing approximately 160 pounds.

He has brown eyes, black hair, and was last seen wearing a black t-shirt and cargo shorts.

Anyone with information on Harris’ location is urged to contact the Nassau County Missing Persons Squad at 516-573-7347 or call 911.

All calls will be kept anonymous.
