The Suffolk County Crime Stoppers and Suffolk County Police are seeking the public’s assistance in tracking down a pair of suspects who broke down a door and illegally entered a Mount Sinai home.
Police said that the two suspects broke a rear glass door on Liso Drive at approximately 8:40 p.m. on Thursday, Aug. 29, though they fled the scene without stealing any items.
Investigators have since released surveillance video and photos of the suspects.
In the video, two men with flashlights, one in a hat, the other in a mask creeping around the Mount Sinai home, looking around.
Suffolk County Crime Stoppers is offering a cash reward of up to $5,000 for information that leads to the arrests of the two men. Anyone with information regarding the break-in have been asked to contact Suffolk County Crime Stoppers to submit an anonymous tip by calling 1-800-220-TIPS or texting “SCPD” and the message to 274637.
