Two Women Arrested For Prostitution At Long Island Massage Parlor

Two women were charged with prostitution after a raid at a Long Island massage parlor.

The investigation into You Ya Foot Spa in Lindenhurst, located on North Wellwood Avenue, happened at around 1 p.m. Wednesday, Oct. 13.

It was conducted by Suffolk County Police First Precinct Crime Section officers, in conjunction with the Village of Lindenhurst Building Inspector, following community complaints.

Yanxia Fan, age 43, of Flushing, Queens, and Yihang Zhao, age 32, of Sparta, New Jersey, were each charged with one count of unauthorized practice of a profession, a felony, and one count of prostitution, a misdemeanor.

They were released on an appearance ticket and are due to appear at First District Court in Central Islip on Monday, Nov. 1.

The Village of Lindenhurst will be issuing summonses to the business and property owners for building code violations.
