The Suffolk County Crime Stoppers and Suffolk County Police investigators are seeking the public’s assistance in locating a pair of men who stole from Home Depot in Commack last month.
Police said that the two suspects entered Home Depot on Crooked Hill Road at approximately 2 p.m. on Tuesday, Aug. 20 and stole six rolls of electrical wiring with a value of approximately $1,000.
Investigators described the first man as approximately 5-foot-6 with “long blondish-brown hair and a beard.” The second was described as approximately 5-foot-8 with short hair. They fled the scene in a Gray Toyota 4Runner.
A reward of up to $5,000 for information leading to arrests has been offered by the Suffolk County Crime Stoppers. Anyone with information regarding the robbery or who recognizes the suspects has been asked to contact Suffolk County Crime Stoppers to submit an anonymous tip by calling 1-800-220-TIPS or texting “SCPD” and the message to 274637.
