Fifth Squad detectives report the arrest Rohed Naeem, 24, and Othello Mallay, 23, addresses unknown, around 8:42 a.m., Saturday, May 25, after responding for a stolen vehicle report and found the two inside a 2019 black Land Rover, Nassau County Police said.
During an investigation, detectives determined that the vehicle was stolen and the two men were in possession of additional stolen property, police said.
The investigation also found that both Naeem and Mallay were allegedly responsible for multiple reported stolen vehicles and larcenies from autos, police said.
Naeem was charged with second-degree grand larceny, four counts of third-degree grand larceny, and two counts of petit larceny.
Mallay was charged with possession of a forged instrument and grand larceny.
